Happy Belated Solstice! Happy Holidays, and nearly there Happy New Year!

We’re thrilled to report we’ve found an amazing team of Poetry Readers. Read all about them here. Thank you to everyone who applied. We very much appreciated getting to know you! Our applications for this position are now officially closed.

On a different note, we’re opening for Poetry and Art submissions for Issue VIII on December 28th, just in time to shake you out of your food-coma creative slump.

We’re taking a pause on Fiction for the moment to regroup and find ways to attract the kind of stories we love to publish. We’ve struggled with this in the past few issues. You can imagine it’s no fun reading hundreds of submissions just to find one treasure (and we’re so glad we did find those treasures).

Last but not least, we’ve raised our payment for poetry to $30 per poem and we’re going to start paying for art, $30 per art feature. For more info, check out our Submit page or go straight to Submittable.
