Briana Gervat received her M.A. in Art History at the Savannah College of Art and Design in March 2014. After graduating, she travelled to Rwanda to continue her studies on the Rwandan Genocide and the art of East Africa. She now lives in New York, where she is an author and photographer. Her prose, poetry, and photography have been published in anthologies, magazines, and other independent publications.
