Patty Grazini was born and lives in Seattle. Her paper sculptures are inspired by the beauty and mystery of recapturing forgotten moments and scenes from history. The distance of time passed is diminished through the retelling of stories, from the quotidian to the macabre. The sculptural pieces are constructed from ephemera—gathered during her travels, from bookshops, and abandoned corners—that have passed through different hands and contexts. Using shadowy colors, layering, and intricate detail, each piece invites the viewer to linger and explore a forgotten narrative. https://www.instagram.com/pattygrazini/
