Paradise beach
We visited Gokarna in the wet monsoon season. A 25-minute hike through a thick forest led us to this small and secluded beach called Paradise Beach. It lies across the coast of Gokarna, a coastal borough, situated on the Arabian sea. As monsoon isn't the conventional time to hit up the coast, we were lucky to find the beach to ourselves.

The photograph captures two fishermen in a dinghy, preparing to sling their nets, on the untamed and untouched river Aghanashini at the eventide. River Aghanashini gushes through the northern part of Karnataka before meeting the Arabian sea in Gokarna.
